How much does the accelerated program cost?

The accelerated program follows a pay-per-course format. This allows students to choose which of the 11 courses they take.
However, the entire 11-month program is being offered at a cost of USD $50 (XCD $134.50) per month on a pay-as-you go basis.

On what days and times will classes be held?

Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7 pm. This will supplement and consolidate what students have already learned from their private instruction via the video tutorials.

How do I purchase courses?

Courses can be purchased using the Paypal option provided. Other payment platforms will be incorporated in the near future. However, if Paypal is not a preferred option, direct banking deposit or cash payments are also acceptable. Contact us for more information.

When must I sit the CSEC exam?

You may choose to sit the CSEC exam whenever you feel that you are ready. While the program is designed to provide the skills necessary to take the exam in one year, you may choose to wait until you are comfortable.

When should I pay for each course?

The courses provided form the foundation of the CSEC Information Technology syllabus. Each course can be purchased as necessary, at any time. However, certain courses include scheduled, live tutorial sessions. Purchasing these courses before the scheduled session provides the most valuable user experience.

What makes this course different from other Information Technology programs?

This course provides a student-centered approach that let's you dictate the pace of your learning. The activities cater to varied learning styles and schedules. Additionally, short-term rewards help keep learners on task and motivated.

Does this program include an SBA (School-Based Assessment) component?

We make every effort to work in tandem with learning institutions to allow students to complete a school-based assessment. In the event that the SBA is not an available option, students may sit the practical Paper 3 component of the CSEC exam as a private candidate.

Will classes be online or in person?

Classes will be held entirely online.

Are there any prerequisites or required materials?

Students should be highly motivated and able to work independently. Additionally, a personal computer, either Windows or Mac (not Chromebook) as well as a copy of Microsoft Office will be required for some courses (Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Database Management).

How is the program designed?

The program is designed to closely follow the CSEC Information Technology syllabus. Each course covers a section of the syllabus. Students may follow the entire program or may choose to select only the courses that they are interested in.
NOTE: To register for the CSEC Information Technology examination with his/her school, the student must have completed all courses of the program.
